The 6th Biennial Aviation and Aerospace Career Fair
Preparing for Takeoff in 2017!
The Aerospace Education Corporation (AEC), a not-for-profit organization created to promote aviation education, was established in January 2006. This organization will be hosting aviation career fairs and offer other ways to introduce students to the aviation industry. Our aviation career fairs are hosted every other year.
AEC will be hosting its 6th Biennial Aviation and Aerospace Career Fair on in 2017 at Republic Airport, Farmingdale, NY . The goal of this event is to introduce both middle and high school students to the various careers available within the aviation industry.
The focus will be a "hands on" approach to give young people a more vivid picture of different aviation careers presented by professionals working in these fields. The Aviation and Aerospace Career Fair will be hosting exhibitors, aircraft on display, aircraft simulators and speakers. Exhibitors at our past events include the FAA, U.S. Navy, 106th Rescue Wing, NASA, Northrop Grumman, News 12, JetBlue, and many more.
This event is open to middle and high schools and the public. Although there is no fee for entrance to the event, all attendees must be registered prior to attending. To register click on the Contact Us/Register page. Please note that a valid photo ID will be needed for entrance. If you know of a school, exhibitor, or volunteer that would be interested in attending, please see the corresponding website pages.
While this two-day event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend, the event is aimed at educating middle and high school students and is NOT A JOB FAIR. AEC cannot verify if any of the exhibiting companies will be hiring.
