Aerospace Education Corporation
The Aerospace Education Corporation, a not-for-profit organization created to promote aviation education, was established in January 2006. This organization will be hosting aviation career fairs and offering other ways to introduce students to the aviation industry.
AEC will be hosting its 2nd
Aviation Career Fair on September 25th
and 26th, 2008. The goal of this event is to
introduce both middle and high school students to the various careers available in the aviation industry.
The focus will be a “hands on” approach to give young people a more vivid
picture of different aviation careers presented by professionals working in these fields.
The Aviation Career Fair will be hosting exhibitors, aircraft on display, and aircraft simulations.
The NBAA
supports the AEC Career Fair and will be involved in the conduct of the event.
This event is open to registered Middle and High Schools, and the
public. While there is no fee for entrance to the event, all attendees must be registered
for the event in
order to attend. To register click on the Contact
Us / Register page. Please note that a valid photo ID will be needed
for entrance. If you know of a school, exhibitor, or volunteer that would be interested in attending,
please see the corresponding website pages.
